What information we collect

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, and the content of your message. We do not collect any other personal information through this website, and we do not use cookies or analytics tools.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about work you have asked us about. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries is a necessary part of running the business, and it is what you would reasonably expect when you contact us.

We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without your consent.

Where your information is stored

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our business email, which is hosted by Google Workspace. Google acts as our data processor and stores data in accordance with its own security and data protection commitments, including UK GDPR-compliant safeguards for any international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. If your enquiry leads to us working together, your details will be retained as part of our client records for as long as necessary for that engagement and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. Your details are only accessible to Forth Advisory Ltd and our service providers (such as our email and website hosting providers) where necessary to operate the website and respond to you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • ask us to correct inaccurate information

  • ask us to delete your information

  • object to our use of your information

  • ask us to restrict how we use it
